Dr Tawhid Hassanien
Dr. Tawhid Hassanien is a General Practitioner as well as trained in the specialty of Obstetrics and
Gynecology. He is fully registered with the Australian Medical Council, a member of Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), and holds an Advanced Diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. He is a mentor for the Certificate of Women’s health training ( Ranzcog)
Dr. Tawhid is also fully registered with the British Medical Council in the United Kingdom, where he worked for 18 years.
Over the last two decades, Dr. Tawhid has practiced medicine in Australia providing high quality care to patients in cities including Alice Springs, Darwin, Melbourne, the Gold Coast, Redcliff, Logan and Brisbane.
He is a firm believer that 80% of women’s health can be managed successfully at the primary care level without paying expensive specialist fees or being on long waiting list. Therefore He established “Australian Women Health” which operates from Smith Brother Medical Clinic in Woodridge and Point Medical clinic in Kangaroo point and the following services are available through him :

Dr Maddy Payne
Dr Maddy Payne is the newest member of our team, having recently completed three years of hospital training at the Princess Alexandra and Mater Mothers Hospitals. Maddy has a background in epidemiology and is interested in preventative health. She enjoys medicine across the life cycle from newborns, to complex disease to older persons. She has a special interest in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health
Dr Saji Manuel , MBBS, MD, FRACGP
DR Saji trained in internal medicine ( MD ) and was a practicing physician in India for 10 yrs prior to moving to Australia in 2009. He gained Fellowship in General practice from the Royal Australian College of General practitoners .
His special interests are managing complicated geriatric patient’s with mutiple chronic conditions, Cardiology, Mental health and Dermatology.
He is also interested in minor surgical procedures such as skin cancer surgery, wedge resection of nail, wound suturing etc .
His hobbies include story writing ,poetry and music .
Dr Claire Winterton MD
Dr Claire graduated from Griffith University in 2014 and prior to that , graduated from University of QLD with a Bachelor of Pharmacy in 2009 . She has worked in Logan Hosp: prior to commencing training in General practice.
She is interested in all areas of general practice, with particular interests in Women’s health and children’s health .
Dr Sunil Rajan MBBS, FRCSEd, MRCGP, FRACGP
Dr Sunil graduated from India and did further training in UK where he obtained FRCSEd ( Fellow of the Royal college of Surgeons) and MRCGP ( Member of the Royal College of General practitioners ) .
He moved to Australia in 2008 . Apart from his interest in General practice, he has keen interest in Skin cancer surgery, Palliative care and Psychological medicine.
He is a member of the Australian society of Psychological Medicine. He is also a qualified Hypnotherapist . His interests include Yoga, Meditation and Holistic medicine.

Dr Feroz has worked in India, UAE and Qatar before settling in Australia. In his previous role he has worked in Airforce and an International Airline with special interest in Aviation medicine. He is a Senior Aviation Medical Officer for Australian Defence Health Services. He is interested in all aspects of General Practice.
